A.T. Tri
A.T. Tri is an international renewable energy project development and finance group based in Bangkok, launched by Dr. Thawat Watanatada, the founder of the A.T. Biopower Rice Husk Fueled Power Project in Central Thailand. The project's first biopower facility, a 22 MW plant in Pichit, Thailand, began commercial operation in December 2005 and is now one of the largest rice husk power plants in the world.
As energy and environment related project developers, our mission is to help drive sustainable development by generating Triple-Bottom-Line returns; Financial, Social, and Environmental benefits to our society and economy.
We work with commercially proven renewable energy technologies in Asian emerging markets, with a special focus on projects that are be eligible to generate carbon emissions reductions under the Kyoto Protocol and other emissions trading schemes worldwide.
We also engage in climate change and renewable energy consulting and policy advisory work with selected clients in the public and private sectors. Our goal is to encourage the development of an active emissions trading market and renewables sector, through building awareness and capabilities among public and private stakeholders alike.
